Perfection?
There is nothing wrong with wanting something so perfect that it's completely flawless. You want it right, and that's okay. The only problem is that several things will happen when you're in the mindset of trying to get something perfect. 1, you will lose out on the opportunity to learn from your mistakes. 2, you are now consumed with perfection, which will cause you to feel like a complete failure when you are trying your best. Or 3, because you can't get it right, you will give up or procrastinate, believing the job can't get done; when in reality it can. Which of the following categories do you think you fall under? Or even if you're not a perfectionist, what have you not completed this year, you wish you had? Could it have been getting closer to God, becoming healthier, involving yourself in a new activity, writing, working on a business plan, or business? Whatever it may be, there are a few tips to keep in mind in 2022.
Progress Takes Time. Even though nothing happens overnight, change marinates overnight as it continues to progress in a change that eventually results in something. (Remember that)
Be patient with yourself. It's so easy to rush the process or want something done at the snap of your fingers, but unfortunately, it does not work that way. Give yourself some time, and work at it brick by brick. Rushing can backfire and cause more harm than good. Take your time. Consistently will always lead to completion.
Finally, if you slip or mess up, or miss a day, Do not beat yourself up. Do not be hard on yourself. Failure is a part of the process; Why? Because it will allow you to learn, retry, and know what to do and not to do for next time. Oh, and if you do slip up, DO NOT WAIT to Sunday or Monday to start over. Start in the following hour or the next day. Waiting for days to start fresh gives you an excuse to continue to slip, making it harder to break the trend or give you a reason not to complete a goal or accomplishments.
There is so much in store for you in 2022. Why? Because I am wishing you nothing but the best and I believe in you. I support any dreams or gifts that God has given you. WE’RE IN YOUR CORNER!! But the secret ingredient for this year to be successful, great, and mighty is You! You have to make sure you put in the work. You have to believe in yourself, trust yourself, and know you will be accomplishing many things this year, in Jesus name. Please don't focus on getting it right the first time or ponder your mistakes. Learn from failure. Accept failure and apply it as an opportunity to get it right the next time.
