Apply What you Learned in 2021 to 2022

It's time to install everything you have learned in 2021 and apply it to 2022! Jacquette White, here, founder of I Am A Book. Today is the last day for the year 2021!!! Tomorrow is a day of a fresh start, a new beginning, new adventures, and a brand new year. This year has been bittersweet for most of us because it brought us so much to take in, enjoy, cry over, and appreciate. So, today I want us to try something different.

Some may not realize, the suffering we have gone through in 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018 all happened for a reason. For the longest time, we were taught to leave the past in the past and pretend it never happened due to the amount of pain it caused us. All the hell we went through left us a bad memory that genuinely deserved to be forgotten. This moment right here is the time to apply and install everything you had experienced and pressure your lessons into this upcoming year. Now, what do I mean by that?

You lost your job, but you kept searching for one.

You went back to school even though you didn't know where the money was coming from.

You continued to write that paper, even when you only had an hour before the deadline.

You gave birth, even after complexions or when the doctors said no.

You lost a loved one but continued to live.

You started a business, even when you were exhausted.

You had to cry yourself to sleep even when you didn't know when your last meal was coming.

You left an abusive relationship when there was a risk.

You started over when you didn't know how to.

You kept going, even when you felt hope was lost.

You decided to heal for yourself because you realize your life was worth living for.

And yet, through all of the heartache and pain, YOU'RE STILL HERE! 2021 isn't the year to throw behind you but to proudly look back on and say, I made it! By the grace of God, I made it! Take all of your life's history from past years until now, apply what you learned, and prepare for 2022.

You're an overcomer. You're a fighter. You're a warrior.

You made it in places where a lot of people didn't. You accomplish things others wish they could have. And do you know why? The grace of God is on your life! Giving you the strength and ability to press and push your way through the most challenging trials and tribulations and know that the best is yet to come.

2021 was only the beginning of what is in store for you, so let's get ready, to accomplish all that God has planned for us in 2022.
